DUBLIN FRONT RUNNERS (DFR)
Trans and Non-Binary Inclusion Policy
Dublin Front Runners was established in 2005 as a safe space for all members of the LGBTQI+ community and our allies to meet, exercise and socialise without fear of prejudice, judgement or discrimination.
Dublin Front Runners will continue to actively encourage and support any and all members of the LGBTQI+ community to become a member, attend training and participate in any races they wish to join. The club welcomes any member, irrespective of gender identity, so as to best encompass the many diverse people that make up the LGBTQI+ community.
We will respect anyone’s preferred pronouns, should they wish to share them with us, and the privacy of all our members is entitled.
We are actively engaged with Athletics Ireland to offer a more inclusive registration option for anyone planning to run in an official AI race.
Dublin Front Runners will not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying of any of our members, either in person or online. Any incidences will be dealt with swiftly and decisively.
The cornerstone of the LGBTQI+ community is love and acceptance, and we will continue to work to protect and promote this inclusion.
