Due to the Mo Run in the park on Saturday 14th of November, we’ll be starting our usual Saturday run from the Visitors Centre.
There are a number of road and gate closures and the park is likely to be very busy, so please give yourself extra time to get there and find parking if you need it.
Details on road and gate closures below;
Richard has compiled a training program that starts today and runs up to the Pride Run on June 19th and it ties in with out regular runs and his training sessions.
||8km long run
I’ll post each weeks schedule in advance on website, Twitter and Facebook.
Because of the Great Ireland Run this weekend, our Saturday run will take place from the Visitors Centre at the normal time of 10am.
The park will be extremely busy so give yourself plenty of time to make it over and if you’re driving allow extra time to find parking. There are a number of road closures with most roads shut between 12:30pm and 3:00pm, so you may need to eat your scone quickly 🙂

Back to normal then from Sat 4 and Wed 8 Jan to work off that Christmas excess….
Annual subscriptions are now due: a mere €30 for the period to 31 December 2014. This includes AAI insurance. Only paid-up members can attend the AGM (see below). All non-members will be removed from the mailing list and private Facebook page if not paid by 31 January, when we register with the AAI.
The DFR annual general meeting will be held on Thursday 16 January 2014 in the Central Hotel, Exchequer St, D2 at 19.30. Full details for the process for committee nominations will follow. Nomination, attendance and voting is restricted to paid-up members only as of the date of the AGM.
We’ll make a night out of it afterwards, so why not come along
Thanks to Andy for organising a brilliant night out last Saturday 14th at our Christmas dinner in Brasserie Sixty 6, followed by dancing (twerking?) on the stage in the George by people who should probably know better…. A great way to finish a highly successful social year!
To conclude 2013, to all our members on behalf of myself and your hard-working committee:
Happy Christmas/Nollaig Shona/Feliz navidad/Boa natal/ Счастливого Рождества/joyeux noel / Wesołych Świąt/ gelukkige kerstmis/Frohe Weihnachten.
