If you’re coming along let us know via email, Twitter or Facebook and we’ll keep an eye out for you.

Summer BBQ 2015

Our annual summer BBQ kicks off on Sunday from 6pm, it’s in the Radisson Blu on Golden Lane. We have an outside area booked until 10pm when we need to head back inside so as not to cause a noise nusance for neighnours. But we’ll probably be on our way to Bingo at that stage 🙂

There are still some tickets left if you want to grab one;

In turn we hope that this link up with the IMC highlights the activities of the Dublin Front Runners and its aims to our athletic community.

Brunch

Instead of scones after the run (I hear a sign of disappointment) we’ll be having a fabulous brunch and some bubbles in Bleaker St on Dorset St for anyone marching with the club today. Meet there from 11:30am before we move to Parnell Square to assemble for the march.

Pride March

We’re meeting outside the Hugh Lane Gallery at 12:30pm to assemble for the March, don’t forget to wear a DFR t-shirt for the march either your singlet, running top, Pride Run or Yes Equality t-shirt.

I’ve also emptied the DFR safety deposit box and will have all our good jewellry so share around.

Fartlek Summer 2015

Patricia has put together a Fartlek program kicking off this Monday 13th, here’s the details.

Farklek 2015 Kick OffAs you all know Fartlek will start on the 13th of April @19:00 and we meet at the Magazine fort car park.

AnneMarie, Mick and Steve are helping me with the sessions, but if anyone is interested to help out, let me know.

Just something to think of when you join us Monday:

  • Try to bring a stopwatch or your running watch to record your lap times. This is to ensure you get the most out of the sessions.
  • Mainly it will be off road but ensure you wear clothing that is visible, I guess most of us do but just in case.
  • Bring your water bottle.
  • Be on time

You must be a registered member to take part in Fartlek.

See you next week!!!

Patricia
