Fartlek

FartlekFartlek is a Swedish term which mean’s “speedplay”, training involves varying distance, speed and terrain to help improve a runners speed.

We run regular Fartlek sessions on Monday evenings at 7pm, the location varies depending on the time of the year. During the summer we start at the Magazine Fort car park and during the Winter it’s in Donore Harriers running club just outside the park near Chapelizod, check out the map on the main running page.

Fartletk is one of the best ways to improve your running, and its aimed at runners of any ability.
