What is Fartlek?
Fartlek is a Swedish term which mean’s “speedplay”. Training involves varying distances, speeds and terrains, to help improve athletic performance. Fartlek is aimed at runners of any ability. In order to attend one of these sessions, you must be a registered club member.
From April to September, our Fartlek sessions take place on Monday evenings at 7.30 pm, starting from the Magazine Fort Car Park in the Phoenix Park (map here, look for the green pins).
From October to March, our Fartlek sessions take place at Donore Harriers ACs running track.
