Tomorrow is our New Members run, here are the routes we’ll be running;
Our run this morning is from the War Memorial Gardens in Islandbridge instead of the park, meet near the Islandbridge entrance, see below, usual time of 10am.
5 Mile Race
If you’re doing the 5 Mile in the park this morning, the meeting point is the bag drop area at 9:30am, good luck to everyone running.
Instead of scones after the run (I hear a sign of disappointment) we’ll be having a fabulous brunch and some bubbles in Bleaker St on Dorset St for anyone marching with the club today. Meet there from 11:30am before we move to Parnell Square to assemble for the march.
We’re meeting outside the Hugh Lane Gallery at 12:30pm to assemble for the March, don’t forget to wear a DFR t-shirt for the march either your singlet, running top, Pride Run or Yes Equality t-shirt.
I’ve also emptied the DFR safety deposit box and will have all our good jewellry so share around.
Some recent race results, first up is the Marid Rock’n’Roll, just a note about the position it seems to be based on gun time not chip time.

It was a great result for the club with €1,510 raised from the quiz itself and a huge success for Yes Equality, our raffle raised €1,900, we’ll be donating this over the coming days to support the campaign.
There are lots of people to thank, the committee, all the DFR’s who attended and helped out on the night our sponsors who provided prizes for the raffle and of course our wonderful quiz host.
If you haven’t already or want to do a little more, here’s the link to donate to Yes Equality.
Anne Marie is helping organising some canvassing in Leixlip next Wednesday, it’s a great way to support the campaign and raise awareness.
Dear Community Member,
I am writing to invite you to attend a meeting of the Yes Equality Campaign for Civil Marriage Equality on Wednesday April 22nd at 8pm in the Springfield Hotel, Leixlip.
This meeting will kick start a conversation in the North Kildare villages of Leixlip, Celbridge, Clane and Maynooth about civil marriage equality and how a YES vote in the Civil Marriage Equality Referendum will make Ireland a better place for all. As a teacher who also happens to be gay I am very aware of the importance of this upcoming referendum for all LGBT people and in particular for our young LGBT people.
This meeting is part of Yes Equality, the nationwide campaign for Civil Marriage Equality working to secure a YES vote in the Marriage Equality Referendum in May.
This is an open meeting and all members of the local communities are very welcome to attend.
If you have any further questions or queries about the event please contact me by mailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Will you please print off the attached invitation and put it up on the notice board in your staffroom and/or local community centre.
Also, please forward this email to anyone you know who would be interested in attending. Invite your friends, family and neighbours too.
Together we can make 2015 the year of Equality and Fairness.
It’s that time of year again, with the evenings longer we’ll be moving back to the Cricket Club for our Wednesday evening run, if you’re coming in from Parkgate St. entrance go through the first roundabout, its the 2nd turn on the left, follow the road all the way to the end and there’s a large car park.
Wednesday run start points are the yellow pins on the map below.

We’re having a party!!!
2015 marks 10 years of Dublin Frontrunners. To celebrate the occasion we’re having a party (what else would you expect!).
The fiesta takes place in Viva tapas restaurant, there’ll be some bubbles, some food, and lots of dancing, partners and friends are welcome.
Tickets can be bought online only and places are limited.
We hope to see you all there
It’s a busy Saturday this weekend, with the Dublin Race Series Half Marathon on in the Phoenix park, good luck to all the DFR’s running. Meeting point is the Papal Cross at 9:15am for a 10am start, don’t forget to weather your club t-shirt or singlet.
Due to the half marathon there will be no DFR run in the park on Saturday, instead we’ll be travelling to St. Anne’s Park in Raheny for the Park Run. If you need collection from the Dart station let Ronan know and we’ll try to org anise lifts, also if you’re driving and can offer a lift.
We’ll meet at the Red Stables coffee shop in the park at 9am and return there afterwards for breakfast.
