All 3 races start at the same point, 10k at 8:30am and half and full marathon at 9am. Meeting point before the race will be Plaza Parterre, 28009 Madrid, Spain, it’s halfway between the bag drop and start line, will meet at the entrance on Calle de Alfonso XII.
I’d like to get some pics beforehand so can the 10k runners meet just before 8am and the half/full marathoners at 8:30am. Drop off your gear first then head to the meeting point.
Hard to believe it’s Dublin marathon time again.
We’ll meet at the usual spot this Monday 28th from 10.30 onwards, under the bridge at the Luas green line Milltown stop.
Watch out for our DFRs taking part:
and don’t forget to bring a supply of jellies as they’ll be sorely needed by the runners at mile 18!
Good luck to all.
There’ll be no track session in Donore Harriers this bank holiday Monday 28 Oct. Normal service will resume Monday 4 November at 19.00. This subsidised event is for registered DFR members only for insurance reasons.
Bookings are essential, so please reserve and pay for your place as soon as possible. It’s on Saturday 14 December in Brasserie66 and cost is E40 per head. You may of course bring a partner. First come, first served.
We haven’t had much interest expressed in running this over winter. If you would like to take part in a say a six week block session, please email Club Secretary Kieran Cooney at firstname.lastname@example.org
If there are insufficient numbers, we won’t be going ahead with it.
The club continues to grow – we’re now at a record 140 – and I’d like to say fáilte to the following new members recently formally registered with the AAI:
