It’s run as part of the Great Ireland run, but you register separately as an AAI athlete, you’ll need your AAI number for this and Regina our secretary can give this to you.
On Saturday March 12th we’ll take part the Waterstown Parkrun, this is a great opportunity for anyone who hasn’t raced before, it’s a 5K race that’s free to enter you just need to register beforehand. It’s not too far from the park so we’ll head back there afterwards for the usual coffee and scones.
Check out the pictures from when we took part in the St. Anne’s Parkrun
I’ll send out more info closer to the date, but put it in your calendar 🙂 There’ll be a run on as normal in the park for anyone who’s not attending.
On Saturday 20th Feb the Operation Transformation 5k takes place in the park so we’ll be running from Irishtown Stadium at our normal time of 10am.
We’ll still have a short and a long route, there’s plenty of parking in the car park of Irishtown Stadium, and we’ll grab some food afterwards in Sandymount.
We are looking to see if we can get a DFR team for the IMRA Wicklow Way Relay (https://www.imra.ie/events/
